Edwin L. Harwood – Ed’s passion for investing began when he bought his first stock as a child, using the money he had earned delivering newspapers; a story he loved to share with a smile.  As his interest in business and investing grew, he honed his financial analysis skills at Michigan State University where he majored in Finance.  Shortly after he graduated from college, Ed began managing the family business where he sharpened his business acumen even further, successfully growing that business while building a reputation for the highest level of honesty, integrity and service.
 
In 2005, Ed founded Harwood Investment Strategies, LLC to pursue his true passion in life.  He structured this business to operate such that the clients’ interests are always placed first.  He created a company where he would want to do business if he were on the other side of the table.  Ed’s reputation for always being honest, his integrity and character are the bedrock of what Harwood Investment Strategies stands for today.  His two sons, Eddie and Tony, are now carrying on Ed’s legacy and building on the foundations that Ed laid many years ago.
